Admittedly I’m not the most consistent of posters. Hopefully where I slack there, I more then make up for in original content. I’m looking forward to getting this back in gear. Here’s what to expect:
- Stitching together panarama images, images too big for the scanner, and images not meant to be stitched together.
- Which color adjustment tools to use when.
- Color Theory at a fundamental, essential level
- Levels, Color Balance, Hue/Saturation, Curves, and Shadow/Highlight
- Taking any object out of any photo (stamp tool)
- Putting any object into any photo (within reason)
- Fixing blemishes on a face
- How to lie in photos
- Custom Brushes and using the brush for design
- What is a mask?
- Using Masks like a Pro
- Doing absolutely anything with Text
And more.
The titles will be catchier, but essentially that’s what to expect. If you want to learn anything else, please post in the comments below.
Once I get through Season 2, I’ll have covered quite a bit past the fundementals and it’ll then be a matter of pushing the skills even further.

You have the definitive best intro out there. And yes I’ve used the Lynda videos and I’ve even suffered through a few of the “let’s look at all the tools first, one-by-one”. Thank you so much! I’ve been teaching myself PS for the last year but I’m still learning so much from you by filling in those gaps of missing knowledge & shortcuts. THANK YOU!
